The Living Room Was Small, But It Felt Surprisingly Open
Inside, Mark had to think carefully about every inch. The living room was not wide, but he made it feel brighter by using pale wood on the walls and ceiling. Large reclaimed windows brought in daylight from different directions, and the trees outside became part of the view. Instead of filling the space with furniture, he kept only what they needed.

The sofa was more than a place to sit. Under the cushions, Mark built storage drawers for blankets, clothes, tools, and board games. A simple shelf held books, a lamp, and a radio he repaired himself. Nothing in the room looked expensive, but everything had a purpose. When the wind moved through the leaves outside, the whole room felt alive, as if the house was breathing with the trees around it.
